This news has completely shocked me. Kim was one of the ladies I talked to the most on Zaaz and back on the old site as well. She was an inspiration in my kitchen and I am truly saddened to hear that her life was cut short.

Thank you to the person who rescued her cats.

Not certain, but I recall her saying something about being in her 50s a while back, so I am leaning towards mid to late 50s? She had been sick a few weeks ago with some bad cold, but no mention of any serious conditions. I am really shocked she is gone.

I heard middle 50's also, way too young. I know she avoided any doctors so she may have had some serious health problems that went undetected.. so very sad :(

I'd like to think I am not reading this correctly but I think I am. This is really too bad, I loved the whats for dinner that she did, I hope someone else will take it over. I'm sorry to read this news about her sudden death :(

Shocking and sad. She was always so liberal with her cooking advice and up for a good chat.

Thanks for letting us know, Kittencal. As always, the first way I find out about our food friends' deaths is by your addition of RIP to their name that I see while I am searching for a recipe :(
