Tasty Lamb Chops

Post by QueenBea » Thu Jul 02, 2015 12:30 pm

This was for DD and I. Since DH was away I decided to enjoy something he doesn't eat. http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/marina ... hops-19874 (just posted) I used Mikekey's http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/herbes ... igue-19506 and it worked perfectly.

Gosh, Bea, that fourth pic has me salivating!!! However, I checked out the lamb at the market today, and at $18/lb(US), I wouldn't have touched them. Even the shanks, which I used to be(apparently) the only person in the US that bought them, as they were kinda considered "trash meat" were $12/lb(US).....oh, sigh. So, I just ended up with baby back ribs....$2.98/lb. Alas, I pass on the higher priced meats for a few bottles of good wine instead :D

Thx Deepster :) You are right, it is so expensive :/ I wait until it comes on sale and stock up but that doesn't happen often.

Just gorgeous photos especially the two cooked ones. Cooked to perfection!
I am a lamb lover too and it sure is expensive but like Bea I watch for it on sale. Australian lamb is my favorite (except for one local farm's lamb). You can get Australian at Costco sometimes at a good price.
