Snow, Icy Roads Dinner
Post
by Bergy » Thu Nov 27, 2014 10:33 am
I had my shopping list in my hand, everything for dinner was on it but I had a problem - it was snowing very hard and the roads were asheet of ice. So dinner was what was in the freezer and cupboard. Came up with chicken balls in Patak's currysauce over tofu rice style noodles, a can of Jyoti lentils and some frozen peas. Wonderfu dinner. I am having the leftovers tonight for dinner. This was the first time I tried the tofu rice style noodles and I won't bother with them again. The only ones I really like is the fettuccini

Looks delicious Bergy! Here too the fettuccine substitute is the favourite, do love the thin spaghetti ones for my Thai and chicken soups. Think of you every time I use them in my stir fry's, soups and casseroles. I thank you, my daughter thanks you as does my grandson.
