Derf's Parmesan Soft Scrambled Eggs

Post by Bergy » Sun Sep 28, 2014 1:52 pm

Derf's recipes bring back manyhappy memories. This is one I enjoy. I added some leftover spicy burger from last nights' dinne and topped off the eggs with some A1 Steak Sauce. I am using up green tomatoes from the garden. Strarted off with some prepared fruit salad

Looks great Bergy!
You probilly already know this but:
You can wrap green tomatoes in newspaper and place in a box or on a counter and store for several months . They rippen slowly, we have had tomatoes from the garden stored this way all the way until Christmas.

Thanks KC, Bea, Lee & Dissie for commenting.
Yes Lee I did know that and we will be doing it very soon. It is getting a bit nippy but not frost yet. So far the grape tomatoes are still coming on strong but the large ones are very slow ripening so they will be tucked away in newspaper. Thanks for the reminder
