Classic Mixed Green Salad w/Chicken, Bacon Ranch Dressing

New recipe for a bit healthier Ranch Dressing which, you can add bacon or not. I did.

The salad, and Italian grilled chicken, tomato, radish, cucumber, red onion, fresh farm eggs, celery, scallions, and sharp cheddar. Pretty classic; but, I thought the pics were pretty nice.

Mixed greens from my garden (red leaf, romaine, a frissee type), and all the veggies


Topped with the chicken and cheese; then tossed




Finished with the egg; and, then the dressing

thx QB, I do like a big salad now and then for dinner. I did have a slice of fresh baked bread. Sometimes, it is just nice to eat my veggies.

Besides, lettuce is thriving right now in the garden.

Thank you. It was filling. It was 2/3 of A big CHICKEN BREAST; and lots of veggies. Between that and the slice of bread; I was stuffed.
Even the ranch; I don't make that open; but, it is good now and then.

I agree with Bea, gorgeous pics. Salads make such pretty pics. The colors in the summer are what they are supposed to look like. The winter veggies, have no taste and the colors stink!

One of my best friends love salad ... but never makes a dinner salad - yet, he wants to loose weight.
I love a good salad for dinner ... and a small dinner roll on the side. Plenty filling for anyone. And, add all the veggies you want!
