Italian Pork, Whole Baby Grilled Spuds, Squash

Post by Kchurchill5 » Tue Aug 26, 2014 5:56 am

Another night on the grill.
I sort of cheated tonight, and used an easy shortcut. A package of Good Seasons Garlic Herb dressing mix. Then, didn't follow the directions on the pack; but, added 2 tablespoons red wine, 1/3 cup olive oil, 1/2 cup OJ, and 1 small onion thin sliced. Very happy; and easy.
My herbs I just replanted, and too early to pick for the marinade.

Spuds, I par boiled in my cast iron on the grill; then, tossed with a garlic olive oil, s/p. Then right on the grill to get crispy; and, don't forget BUTTER!! I couldn't help myself.

Thx QB, the marinade was nothing special; but, came out really good none-the-less. My poor herbs, are just not big enough to cut that much off of yet. And, I have enough for 2 more meals which I will enjoy.

It all looks delicious. Especially the potatoes! I love baby potatoes, fresh out of the garden! Very good pics.

Thx Shadows and Dis ...
Dis, love those baby spuds, they were so crisp which I loved.
Shadows, 140 off the grill - 145 when cut, lol. I'm a big medium fan. The pork was so tender which i loved.

And, yes - pork and tomatoes seem to be the theme this week!

Thx Deepster, appreciate it. I love everything on the grill. Just my cast iron to wipe out is all; and, everything always has a nice smoky flavor. Left overs too, even better.
