I burnt my dinner

Post by QueenBea » Tue Aug 19, 2014 3:58 pm

This is my lamb shank and taters from a couple of days ago. I put it on the BBQ and a camp neighbour dropped by. We started to chit chat and I totally forgot about it. 3 hours later I could smell something burning and yup, It was burnt to a crisp.

Oh how very sad! :( You can still tell that it would have been an awesome dinner Bea! Hope you had something else to eat in the wings! It is funny (odd) how time can get away from you...isn't it?

That's an expensive mistake, but you could just say you were making lamb jerky!

We all post pictures of good looking food - most of us never capture the "oops!". (Happens to all of us) And your photo really captures the char and dryness. I can almost feel the tears of frustration. Nice job!
