Great Sunday appetizer. I did a couple of things differently which you can see in the review.

Oh how I wish I could dig into those, yummy!!!! The last photo is spot on.

Those look absolutely delicious. I would definitely enjoy those. Perfectly cheese and golden brown. Great job!

Thanks for taking time to comment - much appreciated.

I hope that Sue will forgive me for not blanching the tomatoes and for finishing the appies in the oven, Also I didn't roll the basil leaves before cutting them. I used an indoor basil plant and the leaves were too small to roll.

I really like #4, too. This is a beautiful, simple straightforward recipe! You've certainly done it justice :D
