Easter Leg of Lamb

Here are a few quick shots of our Easter Lamb. The meat is fall of the bone tender and delicious. DD has to have it well done, just like grandma used to make it. I only recently tried lamb on the pink side and do like it that way also but I do love my leg of lamb done this way.
Out of the broiler
Ready for roasting
Ready to gobble up

Looks fantastic, gorgeous roast. I do prefer my lamb medium, but; I am sure I would enjoy this too.

I would eat it any way B, I have 2 chops left. Maybe a little snack for lunch.

What he said! Looking forward to seeing the recipe.Shadows1 wrote:That looks like my kind of leg! All the photos are top shelf Bea!
Lamb is too expensive here, we have not had any since my friend who used to raise sheep passed on!
Leg of lamb goes on sale here for $3.99/pound quite regularly. Trouble is, the thing weighs so much you can't find one for less than $35! I'm saving money so we can have one for Christmas. ;)
