Jam & Coconut Slice

Post by Tisme » Thu Nov 02, 2017 2:49 am

Jam & Coconut Slice
This recipe goes way back with my family my Nan and Mum used to make this and I have also made it several times, although not for some time lately.
I made this the other night and it was a huge hit and bought back so many memories for my children!

I love the photos but it's too sweet for me to try. Your photos are so clear - I can even see the separate coconut strands. Lovely photos

Thanks so Much Bergy.
Yes my DH was very annoyed that he couldn't enjoy more of them.
He is a diabetic and any time I make something sweet, he gets really annoyed, because I tell him he can only have a little.
Hence I don't make sweet things much any more and hide the chocolate biscuits when I buy them. ;)

Good for you - You deserve a little sweetie every once in a while so go for it. Now if this was Flan, or even Apple pie that I could go for. Mmmm
