Pierogies, Kielbasa & Herbed Squash
True comfort food. I followed the ingredients but pan fried the pierogies with excellent results. I liked the touch of mustard & vinegar. I used a Portugese smoked sausage - hot & spicy. Served with some sour cream on the side.
The squash was a volunteer from the garden. we loved all the herbs on it. I marinated it for a couple of hours before baking it. I'll be making this recipe again

The pierogies and sausage look awesome. I've been wanting to make some pierogies from scratch for a couple weeks, haven't found the time when I was feeling good enough to cook. I am hoping to do some stuffed with kraut.
