They will be discontinuing allowing photos to be posted elsewhere unless you upgrade to highest tier premium.
Bill noticed this a couple days ago with his blog pics.
I know it takes some time investment to move photos so the sooner you know about it, the better.

Re: About Photobucket
I guess if we could download our photos directly from our computer, like we do when we post a new recipe, there wouldn't be this problem.
Re: About Photobucket
A long time ago I remember that there was some talk about doing this. I wish it could happen and be possible .lovinretirement wrote:I guess if we could download our photos directly from our computer, like we do when we post a new recipe, there wouldn't be this problem.
Thanks Sue

I hadn't seen that one since I don't regularly go through the whole site.Chef shapeweaver wrote:Here's a link to a thread that you might be interested in.

I still have some photos hosted by Photobucket although I don't use it anymore.
It just takes time to track down where the images are linked.
I did notice pics I had on one blog recipe on Photobucket were getting 404's when I saw the recipe, and trying to open the pics on Photobucket was no good.
And they shouldn't be doing that, since I do have a premium account with them.
I have used flickr before when photobucket was on the fritz.
