Pickeral Dinner

I do love Pickeral and I only have 2 more filet dinners left in the freezer. I hope my friends son comes to visit soon again.

I served the pickeral with carmelized onions & mushrooms with side dishes of Derf's lovely Butternut Squash Veggie Medley & Tisme's Balsamic & Garlic Green beans. It all went very well together and was really enjoyed.

Thanks KC - Yes I know we both love Pickeral. It is such a light but delish flavoured fish. As I have said before I m very lucky to have this connection wih my friends son. He gets it right from the fisherman - just caught and reasonably priced

Wonderful looking meal Bergy! Fish is so expensive here we seldom eat it. Just like anything else that used to be cheap the price has skyrocketed!

Thanks Lee. It is expensive here too but sometimes we get some good sales and then I buy for the freezer too. We had a real bargain a short time ago Wild BC Sockeye Salmon Filets at 1.77 lb. It was beautiful!
