Well I really enjoyed though I used a different pasta than the recipe called for but it was of case that was what I had on hand the just the right amount so used up some freezer stash (pasta) everything else was fresh. The thing I am thinking about though is you could easily play around with this recipe to make it vegetarian by omitting the bacon and adding some vegies though not sure in my mind just what vegies any suggestions please and how you would incorporate them into the recipe?

Love the photos Pat really pretty colors from the veggies! DH loves mushrooms and balsamic so this might be a good recipe for him to try.

Good one when you have some left over cooked pasta, though the recipe calls for macaroni I happened to have small shells left over so used that, bigger pasta pieces you would need to cut up more.
