What is the feeling about posting photos of food shots taken of recipes from other sites?

I understand we can post a recipe we have made or used from another site; but, not the pics.
I believe most food sites have similar rules. You can another recipe ... like whats for dinner; but, all pics need to be Recipezazz recipes.

I am not sure, Kitten will be that person.
But, I think it should stay that way personally. JMO. But, I am sure there are many reasons WHY, most food sites enforce this "rule," if you want to call it that.

If you are talking about posting the pics from the other site that is a violation of copyright laws.

If you are talking about making the recipe and photographing it and posting here that will be Carols call.

Myself, I don't think photos from another food sites belong here, I mean what's the purpose of even having this forum, long before I joined here I came over to look at the photos I surely would have found it odd to see photos from other food sites here.

No I am talking about a recipe I made and photographed from another site not using photos from other sites just that the recipe is not on this site. I would never use another persons photo that is just so not on.

I think it would be ok only if you added the recipe, giving them the credit and then post pics. jmo
