am not a boy named sue..... Dissie that flavoring would be great on a crockpot roast, just remember that the crock intensifies spice flavors.

Thanks Kitten that sounds wonderful.
I normaly use the dry rub and injection method with other meats also. A brisket done this way is wonderful.

This recipe can be cooked over an open fire or on your charcoal grill.

That chicken sounds wonderful. But I have a question. I am not being facetious either. What would I do with the other 5 bottles? I don't care for guinness beer. Now if I was in GA, and could access Kroger, I could do a mix and match 6 pack of beers. They have a section where you can pick 6 different beers to make a six pack, or 2 diff or 3, whatever to make up 6 bottles. Loved that part of Kroger!

Most liquor stores, you can buy 1 can/pt/bottle guinness, at least in FL.
But, make corned beef and cabbage/ pot roast/ and share with neighbors, lol.

Dissie, Guinness is wonderful to cook with. Use it in beef stew, french dip sandwiches, anything really that has a deep beefy flavor. I haven't tried it in beer bread, any one?

We have a grill that uses gas on one side and the other side can use charcoal or be used as a smoker. LOVE ribs grilled on indirect heat. I am feeling the need for some ribs.

Guinness Beer Bread is wonderful. I have also added grated onion and swiss to it with the beer, also very good.
