Today's Cooking ...
Cocktail Dinner Party for 40 (most prep done yesterday)
Yes, I have help cooking and serving (set up, decor, tables, flowers, etc; taken care of by someone else) - The bar/desserts taken care of as well
Champagne punch, non-alcoholic punch, and wine bar; a couple bowls of mixed roasted nuts, chick peas, edamame; and olives

1. SERVED COLD
- Long thin slices of cucumber spread w/herb goat cheese, smoked salmon and rolled up; topped w/caviar

- Cocktail pumpernickel bread topped w/roast beef, horseradish mustard sour cream sauce, and watercess

Monday I'm not doing any really serious cooking probably just some beef sandwiches for tonight something easy :D

Sounds good to me. I'm off to work the party; so, my dinner is waiting at pick up ... a sucker for sushi.

People are chowing down ... I can't do much of anything right now other than watch!!!
My friend who is a caterer, her son ... also works in catering is handling everything. We are just sitting back relaxing.

Lovin, I am all for soup/salad or soup/sammie. Classic paring tonight.
My other fave ... creamy potato - not chunky or creamy and roast beef panini w/blue cheese

My 2 all time classic parings.

I made salmon patties tonight, I tried a new recipe and they were quite tasty!

I had some frozen cooked pork loin roast so I thawed that and made some gravy and rice for our dinner tonight 8-)
