What WAS on Your Plate & WHAT'S for Dinner 2/5/17-2/6/15

M.I.A. - SORRY GUYS. I WAS SURE I POSTED; BUT ... I HAD A BUSY THURSDAY, UNEXPECTED FRIDAY; AND, SAT ... I WAS JUST LAZY!
Happy Super Bowl Sunday!!
Image

I had leftover meatloaf; a tater tot oven mix up with onions and peppers, cheese with peas on the side.
I made a rice dinner w/leftover refried black beans tossed with salsa, avocado, cheese, olives (a veggie night).
And, I had my leftover stuffed swiss chard rolls (veggie) baked in tomato sauce (aka, stuffed cabbage rolls) w/ grilled sausage and a fruit salad on the side.

Today ...
Ladies #1 and #2+4: http://www.recipezazz.com/…/beet-cured- ... rseradish-… (been curing for 3 days), variety of cheese/crackers/olives/marinated vegetables; http://www.kitchme.com/reci…/creamy-gre ... icken-soup and, spanikopita, a small platter of Greek desserts (The desserts are from a local Greek restaurant)
Already dropped off, so, they can eat when they want.

Me: Superbowl party at a friends. Not too sure how long I will hang out. Taking my http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/saraso ... -dip-10505 last minute request. And a basket of muffins etc. for the host the next am.
Knowing them - basic grocery store deli subs, salads, cheese platter, wing platter. Neither of the hosts cook AT ALL; but, it will still be fun.
They usually eat very early at pre-game; then, snack the rest of the time.
So, depending on how long I stay ... I always have stuff at home if I am still hungry

Today I made my roasted sausage and grapes http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/roaste ... rapes-6011, and roasted butternut squash.

Soup, I'm with ya! There is nothing better than a big warm bowl of soup. Being single, I always have containers of soup in the freezer.
I know some people don't make it when it is warm out; I make it year round.
