OOPS! SORRY, I MISSED YESTERDAY ... I WAS SURE I POSTED, BUT GUESS I DIDN'T!
So, Happy Hump Day Everyone! What's Cooking?
Well, this week and the next couple weeks are very busy for me. Work; then, cooking for my 3 ladies - who all have company, trips, or events. So, I will be busy.
Yesterday ... I had my creamed turkey over biscuits w/lima beans and peas.
Today's Cooking ...
Me: Meeting a cater friend who wants me to help with one of her parties; so, I guess we will get a few appies/cocktails ... and, that will be dinner.

I cook for 3 elderly ladies. Each are relatively healthy; and, definitely foodies - some health issues prevents them from standing for periods of time - therefore, not much cooking.
They belong to many charities and host parties all the time; so, it is really one of my part time jobs.
I have actually been cooking for them for quite a few years; and, they are real sweethearts.
Usually 2-3x/wk for each one; but, I often do the same meals for each. They live close; and, most nights eat w/their bf or another gf. But, it really isn't too difficult.
Some weeks, they all have company and stuff going on like this and next week ... so, it can be very busy.

Stir fry, yummy ... Don't forget the water chestnuts, I love those things!!! lol.

MORNING AND HAPPY THURSDAY!
Yep, Another Busy Cooking Day ... But, After Next Week, Back To Normal - Not As Busy
MissM ... How does one not like alfredo? My son's favorite dishes is alfredo.
Today's Cooking ..
Lady #2+5 (family): Ritz crackers topped w/herbed cream cheese and smoked oysters (from a local fish market made fresh daily) finished with celery tops and lemon zest; mini roasted ricotta stuffed bell peppers w/balsamic; http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/shrimp ... broth-7500 http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/quick- ... bread-7206 mixed green salad; dessert is up to the guests
(Honestly, it is a very easy dinner. Once I serve everything, I come home)
Me: Leftover creamed turkey from the other night, adding broccoli and cheese over a potato half; grilled romaine
------------
FL Winter, in the low to mid 70's this week ... maybe some soup is on the menu.

Tonight it was savory turkey burgers with lots of herbs, onions, garlic, parm cheese, steak sauce and Monterey steak seasoning; and some leftover butter noodles that I added some velveeta to.

Sounds good. I love my carbs; but, after lots of carbs, FISH is my go to. Even soup this time of year ... I love noodles, dumplings, etc. It just seems right.ellie wrote:Back home -- it is in the 20s this week -- soup sounds good one day this week but tonight is fish night!
