That About Covers It

Today's Cooking ...
After a horrible yesterday, long story; today will be a bit quieter. Just me.
Putting containers of my mixed nuts together, to drop off at my friends.

My rum balls, are just about ready to enjoy (I let them rest about a week before eating); and, I need to make a small batch of snickerdoodles. I put a few in with my rum balls.

Dinner, I planned shrimp last night; but, I didn't even eat. Tonight, maybe my leftover creamed turkey. I could stretch it out by adding peas or broccoli and mushrooms.
Or, I could go back to my shrimp and veggies.
I guess I will just decide later. I can always have the shrimp tomorrow.
Is your rum ball recipe on this site Kchurchill5?

IT'S HUMP DAY ... AND THE COUNTING DOWN CONTINUES ...
I Hope Everyone Stays Safe This Week; A Good Part of the Country and Canada Are/Or Will Be Dealing With Some Pretty Heavy Snow!

Today's Cooking ...
Another party today for one of the ladies. I cook for 3 of them; so, lots of parties this time of year :)

Lady #2+6: Her sister/brother and family are down. So, she is taking a seafood feast to their rental on the beach. Everything served cold - just pack up the cooler and drop it off.

Chilled http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/roasted-baby-artichokes w/lemon aioli; http://www.outdoorhub.com/how-to/2012/0 ... ip-recipe/ and http://www.the-girl-who-ate-everything. ... -ball.html using macadamia nuts (both served w/crackers, crostini/bread sticks, cucumber slices/celery; chilled stone crab and lobster w/warm lemon garlic butter; beer boiled shrimp w/mango BBQ sauce and spicy cocktail sauce; boiled new potatoes w/parsley butter (crockpot to stay warm); https://firstlookthencook.com/2009/12/2 ... naigrette/ (add green/red cabbage); 2 ingredient no churn coconut ice cream (w/added flaked coconut), rolled in to balls/dipped in chocolate

Me: Swiss chard rolls (chard from the garden; filled w/rice, mushrooms, veggies) baked in a sweet/sour tomato sauce; fruit salad

FYI, I did change to a meatloaf sammy, tater tots and fruit. Swiss chard rolls will be tomorrow.

Rum or bourbon balls http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/rum-or ... balls-3198. Best made a week ahead. Keep in tupperware or a tin for 1 week and even better.

Spaghetti casserole; Broccoli rabe, grill endive or romaine salad. 2 of my favorites. Also, if no mushrooms in the casserole; I would saute some mushrooms on the side.
