Jordash, I agree with the pierogies ... I can't get enough of them.
Meatloaf is always a great dinner.
Tex, easy is always good; pasta is always a good standby.

Lovin, FL definitely dodged a bullet. Still flooding and downed trees; but, it stayed off shore. Still clean up; but, it could of been so much worse.
Here in Sarasota, south of Tampa, we barely got enough rain to wet the street. But, there is a light breeze today.

Loli, leftovers ... LOVE leftovers.

WELL, IT'S ANOTHER DAY ... AND, IT'S FRIDAY - T.G.I.F.!
IT'S FINALLY THE WEEKEND!
And, prayers to all who are still dealing with Matthew; and, those who have to deal with the clean up!

Today's Cooking ...
My Dinner: I'm prepping for a cocktail party tomorrow for all 3 of the ladies I cook for; so, I'm just taking a bowl of soup (freezer stash), fruit, and a roll over to my friends catering kitchen. That is where I prep everything.

I share these menus; because, I find it fun to see other peoples ideas or recipes for a party or dinner. I usually find some new recipe I may want to try. Or, maybe it is just something you haven't made it a while.

For me, I haven't made those tortilla pinwheels in quite a while; so, it is sort of fun to bring those back. People always love those. Again ... it is a RETRO type of party.

I enjoy seeing others menus too.

Tonight we are having fish sandwiches using catfish and tossed salad.

I'm big catfish fan. A little slaw or tarter, fries or chips ... I'm in heaven. I love spicy fried catfish too with the classic grits and collards. I'm nit southern ... but, I still love it.
