What WAS on Your Plate & WHAT'S for Dinner 9/28-9/29
HAPPY HUMP DAY!!!
Not much to say today; it already rained, so ruined my yard work day. So, just puttering around.
Dinner is actually out for dinner w/long time friend. His treat, Dim Sum or Thai, the place is literally right down the street. Probably some wine and movie back at my place after. Fine by me!
So, what is everyone else up to?

I bought some locally made smoked kielbasa. So I think I'll cut it up and make it with some kind of pasta.

Lovin, kielbasa is something I love to keep on hand; sounds tasty.
Ellie, sounds good; I can't wait until we get fall. It's mid to late Oct at the least. I still eat soup year round; but, it is always nice when there is a chill in the air.
Shanni, can't go wrong with chicken and orzo.
I love orzo, I use it often. It is such a quick cooking pasta. I use it for many side dishes and salads!

Tequilla steak sounds fantastic; I love tequilla as a marinade. Shanni, sounds like a good dish. I'm another orzo fan.

LATE TODAY, SORRY ... JUST FORGOT! BEEN BUSY. HAPPY THURSDAY!!!
Today's Cooking ...
Lady #1 and #3: http://www.recipezazz.com/…/cheesy-turk ... i-and-mush…; green salad; fresh fruit
(Already dropped off this am. They just need to reheat the casserole; and, toss the salad w/dressing.
I have 3 options. For the next 3 nights, I have ... either
- Cauliflower soup (freezer stash) w/cheesy quesadilla; fruit
- Arugula, fig, and prosciutto pizza; watermelon and peaches
or ... Garlickly shrimp and pea stir fry; green salad
If my friend joins me; I will probably make a pizza for him too, so it depends on his schedule. Right now it is looking like soup and a quesadilla.
