What WAS on your Plate & WHAT'S for Dinner Tonight 2/13

Post by Kchurchill5 » Sat Feb 13, 2016 9:46 am

Morning and Happy Saturday Everyone!!
So ... What's Cookin?

NO Farmers Market today ... plenty on hand. NO beach walk ... too tired; I guess a lazy day for me.
Dinner, very easy tonight. I have 1 small zucchini and yellow squash stuffed with beef and cheese in the freezer. I'm just going to reheat those; and add a big salad for a simple dinner. I have some fresh strawberries and cream for dessert.

Yesterday it was stuffed peppers and cilantro-lime rice. So tonight it was stuffed pepper soup.

I think Kitten and I had the easy nights; everyone else was more creative. I did bread in the ABM; and, heated up my stuffed squash. I LOVE LOVE stuffed pepper soup. But, I love stuffed peppers too, :)

Kim once I get on a bread making kick I don't feel like doing anything else, besides I ate so much bread I couldn't even think of any food :o  Tomorrow is my day for cooking, my son, DIL and grandson come for dinner, it's really the only day I cook a big meal..

I'm jealous of bread makers. I truly dislike baking; but, I do it now and then. My ABM is my savior when it comes to bread, lol. But, homemade or fresh bread, DELISH! That would be my dinner with a glass of wine.

Enjoy tomorrow, it Valentines - family is the best!!!

Kimmy trust me I am far from a professional bread baker I have however been baking bread and buns for years though so I kind of have the feel for dough to make a regular loaf of bread nothing fancy though however I have tryed a few in my day, since DH has passed I hardly bake and cook anymore really only on Sundays, but once in a while I get a baking bug  yes your right family best. I hope you have a good Valentines Day one Kimmy!
