What WAS on your Plate & WHAT'S for Dinner Tonight 2/5
TGIF Everyone!!! It's Finally the Weekend!
Well, my car is in the shop for the weekend; but, at least I have enough stuff to get me through the weekend. Also, my grocery store is just a mile away ... and there is always the bike.
Well, my tuna got side tracked again last night. I got home late, it started to rain, lettuce still in the garden; and, it was cold ... so
I used a good old pack of cheap chicken ramen noodles. Added, frozen mushrooms, frozen seasoning blend (my mix of onion, celery, red and green pepper), shredded carrots, a little dash of soy, minced ginger; then, cooked until almost done. Finished by cooking a farm fresh egg in the pot on top of the noodles. Scallions, cilantro, radish, a drizzle of sesame oil to finish.
I was such a happy camper for a 10 minute dish.
Today ...
Ladies #1, #2, and #3: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/148794/bre ... d-ravioli/ it's baked and I do it my way, w/creamy pesto dip; marinated artichokes and mushrooms (olive oil/white wine vinaigrette with lemon); Spicy steamed clams, mussels and shrimp w/crusty bread (new recipe to post); Italian coffee (a mix of coffee, amaretto, brandy, cinnamon, whipped cream), http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/italian-biscotti-2541
Me: Tomato soup; veggie pita sandwich w/spicy chick peas, olives, spinach or greens, artichokes and tzatziki sauce (new recipe to post) - depending, with my car in the shop, this could change.

Thx madonna, enjoy the movie.
I did change my dinner tonight. I'm just switching tonight and tomorrow's dinner is all. Leftover butternut squash shells (freezer stash), green beans; salad.
Tomorrow will be my pita and soup; it was just easier tonight.
Sassy, pasta here as well; nothing better than a pan of lasagna!!!

Sounds wonderful ... I'm a curry newbie ... I'm learning to like it more and more with new recipes. But, I love lamb too.
Happy Friday Night as well!
