Me: At a friends for an mid day BBQ - I'm taking http://www.recipezazz.com/…/sarasotas-c ... dip-in-bre…, but using chicken , plenty of dippers (my friend will send me home with leftovers - dinner)

Bethany, I love her STOUP idea; I make many like that. Sounds good.
CupC, I would vote for swiss steak ... only because I am using that in my pot pies tonight ... not for dinner - for tomorrow, just putting them together tonight. Some will go in the freezer.
MeMack ... I always make extra; makes the week easier, love turnips too; don't make them too often however. But, when I lived in MI ... ate many - Mom made me, lol.
Split pea, I admit, NOT A huge fan; but, peas are a favorite veg. I love a fresh pea soup however, go figure. But ... I would never NOT eat it.
Anything with raspberries sounds great ...

ENJOY EVERYONE! Great sounding meals. My friends BBQ was good; came home with leftovers ... so that's my dinner. Their daughters b'day; so the entire family and good friends. KIDS party was yesterday!

I have pulled pork, 3 salads; and a good mango salsa w/chips. DINNER twice over.
